- OME NEW ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATIONS – “Transporting Scenarios”
Here are excerpts of policy letters that the OME responded to regarding different “transporting” scenarios for purposes of determining eligibility for the MEP. The OME’s response is their best and safest guidance as it applies to the specific conditions described in the original letters. These excerpts were based on previous regulations and non-regulatory guidance.
The Migrant Education Program is announcing the new position of Services Advocate; this position will be hired within the Local Project Sites. This position is responsible to identify, develop, schedule, and monitor community, school, or federal services that are needed by migrant students, OSY, or migrant families.
